Is doing this too much and too showy? I think it looks nice, but am not sure if it is appropriate for the interview attire.

Overkill, playa.

I think you'd look sexy...sailor! 😉str8flexed said:Is doing this too much and too showy? I think it looks nice, but am not sure if it is appropriate for the interview attire.

OP- if you know how to dress properly, just be yourself. The above attire will be great for looking just like everybody else. If your application screams "I'm just like the rest of the pack", run with it. If not, you can afford to look like an individual.Hercules022 said:Appropriate:
Navy / gray suit, white / blue shirt, conservative tie

Sorry, I was unclear. I mean that if you have no idea how to dress fo business, it's safe to wear the dark suit/dark tie/white or blue shirt uniform. You'd be amazed what some folks who don't know how to dress for business consider appropriate. I've had interviews with nine candidates who look like they're modeling for a Deloitte and Touche catalog and one guy who comes in looking like he married his first communion suit with a salvation army giftcard. That'd be the freak.MediMama23 said:A freak? To have a hankie? That's a bit much, no?
