If 1/3 of the poor unfortunate souls taking the DAT smash their head into the computer screen in the Prometric Center, then what is the probablity of seeing at least one person walk out of the prometric center with his/her head in a computer monitor out of every 3 people who take the DAT?

1. B
50 inch x 8 = 400 inches
400inches * 1foot/12inches = 33.3333 feet
.3333 feet = 1/3 feet = 4 inches
33'4''

2. E
3. D
2,4,6,8,10 =estrogen
2,3,5,7,= progesterone
4. A

#3 is like the math destroyer question..the answer is 8 times..in the destroyer solutions 2 counts as one clap

That's ridiculous, the odds of them clapping in unison are essentially 0%.
yeah..initially when i did the problem, i thought their claps at #2 would be both counted..but for some reason i'm not sure why they count it as one clap...someone please shed some light on that

It cant be 8...

even numbers....2,4,6,8,10
prime numbers....1,2,3,5,7

2 is one clap because they both do it at the same time so you only hear one clap...

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10

that's 9 numbers and therefore, 9 claps...destroyer must be wrong.

1 is not a prime number.

And I don't buy the whole 'two claps are heard as one' unless explicitly said in the problem.

damn, I didn't know 1 wasnt a prime numbah.

I know now:biglove:

dude, if you and I both clap at the same time, it's just 1 clap, it'll only be heard as one clap, that's why the answer is 8 without the 1 being a prime numbah(Im trying to say it with a Boston accent)😀

No it's still 2 claps 🙂 I just don't like problems where there's room for interpretation. It should be clear cut.

And I hate the Boston accent. I spent 4 years of hell there at college and now I'm free! 😀

And for the record it would be something like: numBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHREDSOX

destroyer still considers it one clap

You're so funny...

Yeah man, I hate Boston as well...it's hell on earth,

no luxury, no customer service, unfriendly people, violence...unsafe place

the accent is funny to listen to, but they sounds like ex-cons...lol

So cold there too and people drive like they are trying to get away from a tsunami.

And what's up with everyone wearing Red Sox, it's like Boston only makes clothing with the Red Sox label, so if there were no Red Sox, everyone would be butt-naked riding on the T.........lol

The answer is 9 but you can hear two distinct claps for number 2 so it does count for 2. One is not prime.

you guys don't post destroyer questions. his work is copy righted. i am sure he won't appreciate it.
