hard work vs. being a good test taker

i'm curious... who have scored 30+ with a gpa of 3.3 or lower? i see that many people have gotten a high score without taking review and stuff, but maybe you did extremely well in class, so it stuck with you? or is it really about being a good test taker?

Now, I am not in that specific boat, however I know tons of people like this. With the MCAT I think hard work will take you as far as you can go, and no further. I got a 30, after two months of very hard work in the summer. If I studied MCAT for 4 years I don't think I'd EVER get a 35 which some people get effortlessly. Hard work will take you to a point where you score pretty good but I think that the people who score real high are just those whose brains are wired for that kind of a test, and are smart too.
