Hardest chapter in human physiology

hi, I was considering taking human physiology for the upcoming school year and was wondering what chapter you guys may have found the hardest. Most people I asked said either the nervous system or endocrine system. This would be good since I am a psych major and already know a lot about the nervous system.

If you don't understand electro-chemistry/electricity neuro could be confusing.

Definitely neural, I never fully understood it until I took a class specifically on neuro. Full understanding takes a synthesis of physics knowledge IMO

Endo is okay, it's a lot of memorizing but once you memorize it all conceptually it's not that bad

I'm voting for renal. Too confusing. I actually really like neuro, so it's the easiest part for me.

I didn't understand the renal section when studying for the MCAT & still don't after taking physiology class

I found female repro easy (n=1).

I was not a huge fan of renal and immune.

Renal and female repro...both require understanding a complex system of gradients and balances, and then also throw in a bunch of endocrine control.

Neuro has easy basics, but then things get fuzzy because different textbooks and sources generalize to completely different levels, meaning that no two sources will give you the same 'quick' answer.

Renal or immune system defo, but all of them have a basic principle behind them that once you understand it becomes significantly easier. It also depends on how much memorization you're required to do and what your professor emphasizes. With enough flashcards, videos, and drilling they can become relatively simple. Digestive system also has a lot of enzymes to keep track of that really sneak by if you don't make an effort to keep track of them all.

Immuno for sure. Idk if it was my professor or just me, but it was difficult for me to keep it all straight. The rest wasn't difficult, although renal/endocrine killed a lot of people in my class.

I agree with renal/neuro/endo. These topics probably cover 1/3 of the course if not more
