I havent taken the mcat yet...But I personally think theyre ******ed for telling us how we should write. Writing in cursive doesnt prove anything for medschool. The only reason I think they even told you to write in cursive is becuase it would SLOW YOU DOWN. I think that is as low as they can get considering that writing in cursive doesnt show how good of a doctor you will be. They also know many of us dont write cursive as well, maybe they should make that a requirement for the mcat. In fact, I could bet you that if all of us did write in cursive on that test, it would be alot more harder to read, thus resulting in a slightly lower grade. I know they dont judge your paper by your handwriting but if they cant read your handwriting(cursive) then your bound to get a lower grade. So in conclusion, if they want to screw you over on the test, they should do it through difficult material and not through irrelevant demands.
It just amazes me seeing as how we have very bright and intellectual people sitting on the AAMC board for test making and they would demand something so irrelevant.
