Just checking to see if anyone is awake. 🙂

With all this tension (in the next couple of weeks), perhaps a little humor?

hey, i got a harvard interview but have been absolutely snubbed and outright rejected by 7 other schools pre-interview, many of which aren't even ranked.

go figure.

gee, wish I'd thought of using Harvard as a back-up!! 😀

Without going so far as to say that Harvard was my backup, I have no problem saying that I was accepted and chose another school over Harvard. Is that so hard to believe? I've heard from several individuals in competitive residencies that Harvard students were generally underprepared compared to their colleagues. I don't understand the obsession with this over-rated school?

choker: it really is strange how this whole app process works.

If any future applicants here is listening, remember this: you can plan everything right, but you still have to leave your chances to lady luck.

florisio

congrats on your acceptance. what school did you end up choosing in the end?

LMAO! 😀 Good job! You've tweaked this SDNer! Thanks for the laugh!

Florisio:

Hey did you decline Harvard med school or undergrad? I interviewed at Harvard but wouldn't attend if accepted. Though don't tell them I said that. I do want my Harvard acceptance letter.

i turned down a harvard interview since I already had another acceptance, they may like to think so, but they aren't everyone's top choice
