Don't give up on Stanford just yet. They just started scheduling interviews for early February, so there's hope still...at least that's what I've been telling myself.

Anyone else out there? I don't want to believe that Harvard has stopped sending interview emails without considering us august guys.

Stanford told me that I would have a decision about an interview in mid-February, and I was an August MCATer.

Exactly the mindset I've adopted, finnpipette. That twinkling flicker of light at the end of the tunnel is slowly fading, my friend. My application has been complete since early September, and my will power is giving away. A slow rise of disappointment is on the horizon. Anyhow, they're the only school I am waiting on for an interview.

Hate to burst your bubbles, but I know a few August MCATers who had Harvard interviews in Nov/Dec. Granted, these are Harvard undergrads... But it's not that they haven't looked at you yet. Sorry!

Ironically, I have the same feeling about diminishing chance of interview...but it's not Stanford, it's Yale and Hopkins for me 🙁
