It might be acceptable as a letter if they're writing the LOR as your employer, but if you mean as a substitute for a dentist letter, it wouldn't suffice.

I'm not a master at dental applications. I'm just a lowly sdn poster with almost no experience with admissions, but I would probably get a dentist to write the letter.
