Has anybody ever had or heard of scholarships being offered later in the cycle even if an applicant was accepted into the school earlier?

I was just wondering.... Say an applicant got accepted in the fall. Is it possible for scholarships or any financial packages to be offered later in the cycle (in the following spring or so)? Or is the offer you get when you're notified of the acceptance pretty much what you get?

From my experience, the scholarships have always been included with the acceptance. Hope this helps!
