I'm on the waiting list as of last week. Is that a good or a bad thing? I was just kind of wondering where other people stand if they've hear anything from the UW. Thanks!

also put in waitlist/competitive pool etc. Do any of you know how many people are put in this pool vs. how many they accept immediately? My MCAT numbers are also below 30-- and was wondering if initial acceptees had high MCAT stats.

They say that they accept 10% right away, reject 10% right away and put the other 80% into the competative pool. Obviously these percentages are of people interviewed. Good Luck, because most of the people in your class will be pulled from this pool.

Hey Jenuine,
can you please be more specific than that? If you're not comfortable posting your numbers, then a few examples of your "stellar" EC's or anything else would help. I wouldn't think you were bragging or anything, after all, I'm the one who's asking. Just very curious. also, URM status is always helpful. Hope to see you next year!

I believe it is the same sized envelop for both rejection and acceptance letters.
