i think these are all pre interview letters for the MD program. They told us at the interview day that unless we were one of the lucky early accepts in December, all post interview accepts/waitlists/rejections wont go out until a set date in mid march.

Actually, the only reason I'm slightly bitter is that the dean's signiture on the reject letter is computer generated.. at least sign the &*(% thing

Considering I was rejected for undergrad there also, I think I am now officially done applying to Cornell.

This reminds me of the whole DOOK threat where no one heard anything for like 4 months 'til after their freaking applications were due!

Anyway, yeah, i haven't heard anything either and I applied way in june.... in the beginning'ish.

I just want to hear *SOMETHING*.

I called the office the other day and the lady told me they will be finishing up and sending out their remaining interview invites and/or rejections in the next "two weeks"

Now this is going to sound odd......... but I can't remember if I applied to Cornell or not, I sent in 30 applications.... damn!!!! well speaking of rejections I got a HALF rejection from Temple... get this! they said if I wasn't a US citizen that I couldn't apply (this is pre-secondary) and if I was to tell 'em ASAP or to get my Visa ASAP, well as a Canadian I didn't/couldn't so I didn't send a secondary there.
Is that considered a rejection?

Anyhow, since I sent my **** in soooo late (1.5 months ago) I'm sure I'll be getting those thin letters pretty soon... around Feb probably, still though all I want is ONE interview! that's it! just one!

hi xaelia - I too have been complete at Cornell since August but haven't heard anything either (which is weird b/c I have interviewed at schools that I thought were much more competitive than Cornell; BTW, I don't want this to be miscontrued as me saying that Cornell is not competitive). Anyway, I guess we'll know within a week or two whether we're going to be interviewed or rejected.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm quite surprised I didn't hear from them early on as I interviewed at a number of top 10's in october and november. Nothing from Cornell though. I guess maybe they look for something different. Who knows.

I am in Cornell limbo as well. I have been complete since early September and not a word. I could have a rejection in the mail on Monday, however, because mail tends to take ages to get to me.

Anyone know if Penn is rejecting yet? I'm in limbo with them as well.

Hang in there. I got an invite last week, and on the invite it says that they will be interviewing through late February. The dates they had available for me went up to the end of January. Thus, it seems that they will still be sending out invites for a few weeks...
