Has anyone heard from RUSH?

the girl who keeps posting "its been 4 months!!!!!!!!!!!!"



ya'll just need to chill, im waiting too -- just cuz you wake up in the morning and decide that TODAY is the day that you really really really want the interview does not up your chances.

Sekem is Rush the only school you applied to? What were your stats?
 
Then why are you posting every 2 seconds?
 
Someone in this thread previously assumed that Rush had finished decisions for applicants who interviewed nov. 29th and before. Besides myself, are there any other sdn members who are in that category and have yet to hear any news?

If not, do you feel it is safe to assume bad news on it's way?

I interviewed 11/27 and I do not believe that bad news is on the way. 🙂

I actually decided to pursue business for a year or two, and if I find out that its not my cup of tea, I will reapply. Nothing wrong with Rush, its a great school, and good luck!

Do they offer interviews through infostatz?
 
I had my mail forwarded over the holidays, so I didn't receive my acceptance letter until yesterday. I interviewed 11/19 and it was postmarked on 12/22. G'luck to all those still waiting! Hang in there!

Congrats, Clara! I just got a call from my mom saying that I received an acceptance as well. Are you planning to attend?

I know most of people who had interviews in Nov have recieved their decisions! Anyone with updates of late Nov and Dec interviewees?
 
I interviewed Dec 7th and no word yet...:scared:
 
I got in at RUSH. YESSSSSSS!!!!!, this is one of my top 4 schools. hehehehe. I just found the letter of acceptance like 10 mins agooooooo!!!!. Only Albert Einstein or UCLA can beat it now. so happpyyyyyyy.

Awesome!!!!!! I got an acceptance form Rush today too! My first acceptance! What a load off!!!! 😀

I interviewed Dec 7th.

I was interviewed on the 4th of dec. my stats: mcat 30, gpa: 3.85 ( science gpa 3.84), lots of research including internship and presentation at Caltech. I am from University of California, Irvine. Good luck to other nov. and dec. interviewees.

based on previous posts it seems that they meet every 15 days, as the previous letters were sent on Dec 21 and now on Jan 5th!!!! I am not sure if there are anything in between or this assumption is true at all, but if that is the case the next letters will be sent around Jan 19 and people should recieve them by approximetly jan 25!!!
 
I guess people will recieve some new acceptances/waitlist mails by friday

I haven't heard anything from Rush after my interview...

I interviewed on 1/10, so I'm not expecting to hear something back for another few weeks. But if anyone who interviewed around the same time as me hears back from Rush, please let me know 🙂

Any new news? (interviewed 1-24 and got accepted 2-16)
 
I interviewed on 1-24 and got the acceptance letter on 2-14.
 
I interviewed 1-17 and still haven't heard anything, but it sounds like people who interviewed the week after me have been accepted. Does this mean that they don't know what to do with me and I'm going to end up on the waitlist? Or am I just being paranoid? Also, did anyone else interview with Steven Andrews?
 
JUST GOT INTERVIEW INVITE!!

There is still hope. I was a late applicant due to the August MCAT and my stats are not stellar by any means.

I might be bugging people who have already interviewed for advice and what not.

Grats dude, how did they inform you?
 
It seems like everyone that got into Rush was informed within 2-3 weeks. Does it mean that if its taking a bit longer that its going to be a waitlist or rejection letter when it does finally arrive?
 
I hope that's not what it means. Has anyone actually been rejected post-interview?

I'm concerned about the same thing. I interviewed on Jan. 17th and haven't heard anything back yet while others who have interviewed after me have already gotten an acceptance. Am I doomed?? 🙁 🙁
 
Ok, so it's now been over 6 weeks since my interview. I'm getting my mail forwarded and have been having some problems with it. I'd love to call them and check on my status, but we all know how good rush is at communicating with applicants 🙄 Anyone have any info/suggestions? This is starting to make me a little crazy.

I interviewed at Rush on 2/28 and was told it would take about 4-6 weeks to get a letter sent out. I'd say wait about 7 business days for the mail to get to you before you loose any sleep. I'm also have to do some mail forwarding, and I've been notifying the adcoms of the address change as well so both adcoms and AMCAS know what is up. Relax...there are still spots open.
 
I interviewed with Rush on 1/10 and I still have not heard anything. Since it has almost been 8 weeks since my interview, I'm really hoping to hear something soon...

Wow, that' a really long time! I really hope for the best for you! Rush is just about the awesomest place in the western world.
 
Does anyone know if Rush is still sending out interview invite? Or are they all done and I need to just sit back and wait for my rejection letter in the mail?
