I was wondering what you guys think about my situation. I'm currently waiting to hear back from Drexel, FAU (Newly accredited) and a DO school in Florida. I haven't heard from these schools about an interview and its getting pretty late into the process.

Any advice would be great. Thanks.

I don't know what kind of advice you seek... but since FAU started their interview process relatively recently and will probably be interviewing at least until the end of May (don't know for sure), it's likely you still have a chance at an invite there.

I'm not sure about Drexel and the DO school, but I think most schools are wrapping up their interview season already.

Are you saying you applied to 3 schools, including one that gets an extraordinary number of applications, and are surprised you haven't gotten an interview?

It's pretty late in the process..... You should plan on reapplying while waiting

I'm guessing he applied to many more but has already heard rejection notices from them at this point.

I've recently contacted the schools and they just said that my file is still being looked at.

And as for reapplying, I'm on an Educational Delay from the Army. If I don't get into school, then I will be commissioning as an officer.

did you apply early? what is your gpa/mcat?

Well in consideration to make the most out of your current position. You could send update/interest letters to let those schools which are still interviewing. I did this and was able to milk out an extra interview. But I would do this immediately as interviewing time is drawing to an end.

Other than that you need to start focusing on Plan B and address your weakness' as to why you didn't receive interviews.

If rejected, mean with the dean to see where things went wrong (after the cycle is over).

GPA/MCAT?

It's pretty late in the cycle so I wouldn't get my hopes up. Good luck.
