I am usually covered under my parents when it comes to health insurance, however, our provider is not available in the state I will be attending dental school. Do most students just buy health insurance with their schools? Just looking for some advice from people who have been in this situation. Thanks

For UNE, I'm required to get an insurance policy through them that's $3,267/ yr or get my own insurance equivalent to it.
I'm sure your school has it's own policy regarding insurance.

Try the Exchange? If your income < 400% of FPL, you can get some pretty good federal subsidies and pick up a Silver Plan at little cost.
