anyone know any programs that offer one year heart failure fellowship after the 3 year internal medicine residency? thank you

yup there are few places for IM grads, like:

1) Albert Einstein medical center in Philadelphia has 1 yr CHF program
2) Scripps clinic san diego has 1 yr Heart failure program
3) Boston University medical center has 1 yr Cardiomyopathy/Heart failure program
4) oschner clinic has 1 yr heart failure fellowship
5) University of Wisconsin has 1 yr program
6) Loyola university

i think there are few more places i am missing but will update u soon, other than CHF- you should look for Cardiac Imaging/echo or Hypertension or preventive cardiology programs as well if interested, Good Luck 🙂

If i have correct information from this year ACC mandated that for CHF fellowship now will be accrediated and after accrediation requirment for CHF is to be after general cardiology fellowship not after internal medicine.

I had 9 CHF interviews last year and i was told by most of the program this news that from next year they are going to be accrediated.
