Hello

I am 90% done Uworld, and my cumulative avg is a 56%. I feel completely unprepared, and think this is an unacceptable score.

I did NBME 7 about a month ago and got 210, then started Uworld. I've done one pass of FA.

I have about two months left, but I am really disheartened here. Is my score TERRIBLE? A little below avg? Anyone get scores like this then do well on the exam?

Please, any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think a lot of people are misconstrued about how the uworld qbank should be used. I wouldn't hang your head over getting a 56% world avg. What matters is if you are learning from the qbank. Read all the explanations, take notes into your FA and most importantly LEARN why you got each question right or wrong. 210 on nbme 7, 2 months till your exam is very solid IMO and i think you are at a really good spot. Don't let the world average let you down.If you haven't started doing pathoma, I would highly consider adding that to your study plan. Then take another nbme couple weeks from now and see how that goes. good luck!

Definitely. Especially since the NBME was before any UWorld. Keep your chin up, OP. Let another NBME tell you where you're at if you're worried.

I would keep going over the main sources (Uworld, FA, and pathoma). Again and again as many passes as possible. Also, if you feel your base knowledge is weak is some areas then go back to a reference text for that course but with 2 months of review time I would just hammer out UFAP as many times as possible.

Goodluck.

You have to go back to the fundamentals.

Read FA and focus on concepts: "why does this cause this" "why is that written in there?".

Once you've got FA down go back to Uworld, and IMHO get a second qbank to practice FRESH questions (either usmlerx or kaplan). Note: do not annotate these qbanks extensively, just grab some points (bottom line in RX, Review in Kaplan Qbank) and move on. If it looks random as **** and tedious in those qbanks its cause it is. You don't need to finish this second qbank, this is just to keep you prepared to handle fresh questions. A block a day is good enough. Spend a half hour reviewing it max.

Relax. Regroup. Review. Then reassess.
