    "The majority of nutrient absorption in the human digestive system occurs in the duodenum of the small intestine."

    Doesn't the majority of absorption happen in the jejunum and ileum of the small intestine? I thought duodenum broke down materials and that the jejunum and the ileum absorbed them.
