I am interested in the area of para-psych, consciousness, and all those deemed more on the "pseudoscience" side..
I think it will be interesting for me to do research on, and I could do it for a long time.. other topics don't really hold my interest.

The thing is, my faculty does not seem to have those. I am applying for either an honors or a masters and they want me to submit a proposal. I am sure the proposal will carry much weight - as of now I am still deciding on the topic.

What do you guys advise regarding doing something of the sort? I'm not sure which advisor or supervisor I can approach for this..
Is consciousness or parapsych recognised in the scientific community, anyhow? I'm a bit out of the loop. I'm interested in Carl Jung's work, regarding synchronicity and other weirdish factors.

Anyone with thoughts or advice is welcomed 😀

i would be asking a question about consciousness and how it relates to spirituality, well being and environmental care.

these are critical issues at the moment, and cross disciplines to identify sustainable solutions. it also has application with regard to personal and environmental health.

locate your school/uni's overall research focus (e/g/. here in cairns, australia, james cook university has a dominant research focus of people, place and identity.

in australia, the indigenous peoples speak of the dreamtime relationship they have with each other, the earth and all else in the universe. some say this is magikal thinking, and even among the indigenous communities are stories of specia people who have powers to heal or harm.

basically, tailor your study to meet the research goals of others with a twist of your own innovation.
