So I'm new to this thread thing so bear with me ! I'm currently finishing up my undergrad at a UC and decided that I want to apply to a career changer post bacc program, preferably a formal one with linkages like Bryn Mawr, Temple, UPenn, Goucher etc. I took a few science class at my first university but was totally unfocused and ended up with a 2.9 while was there. I then transferred to a school back in California to save some money and now when I graduate I'll have a 3.6/3.7gpa here as an anthro major (B.S.). I also took a few summer courses at two different junior colleges and got a 3.85 and a 4.0 at those institutions. I've had a job since I was 18, been volunteering at in the ICU department(will be around 3-4months by the time I apply)and have an internship at another hospital where I'm basically a CNA with over 200 hours of volunteer time. I got a 25 on the ACT( back in 09) and I'm wondering if I should take the GRE to help my chances or just stick with the 25 I got? Maybe I'd have better chances at a school like San Francisco State that doesnt have linkage and is obviously cheaper? I'm looking to start applying in september for next summer/fall! Its all so stressful all! thanks for your replies in advance!
