Hmm, had my 1st DAT on 6/23, it was devastating, so had to wait for 3mos for the 2nd round... My 2nd DAT will be on 9/29.
Will send all my applications in Next week.
Is 9/29 too LATE??
Thank you all!!

yeah i think it is late but could be okay if you really blow it away. good luck

Places that are interviewing now, yes it is late...(Case, Nova, Indiana, etc)

What you could do is look at posts last year of people completing their application that late and see their experiences.

I saw a Case Western one that had a guy who submitted everything Sept. 1st or so and getting an interview in February!!

Good Luck

You gotta kill it 22-24 range, IMHO.

that is pretty common with Case Western. last year by september they had interviews through feb and by october they had given out all their interviews including for the waitlist.

it is only too late for some schools with eariler interview dates, but not for schools such as nyu, ucla, ucsf, usc, etc...

Dont rush it, you might be too late compared to all the other applicants. Take your time and maybe still apply, but if you're not ready dont shoot yourself in the foot like I did. I ended up having to take it 3 times :hardy:. First time wasnt too good, so I tried taking it ASAP so I could catch the same application cycle, but ended up getting the same score. Needless to say, I then had close to a year to study, but it paid off.

one of my good friends who graduated in 2006 ended up taking the test and applying in october and november of that year (really late into the cycle). He got about 20 on every section of the DAT (which are solid scores but not extraordinary). Well, he ended up getting into BU, Tufts, USC, and Maryland. Also, he is a very personable guy and probably killed those interviews. His gpa was mid to low 3's as well.

You guys are great! Thank you all! ^_^
