Help! DAT retake question and submitting for cycle

Hey everyone,

So I took the DAT in January and got a 19. So I'm planning on retaking it. A question I have is that I am applying this upcoming cycle and want to have everything sent within the first week of the application opening (June 2-9) so that I'm in the first batch. However I plan on retaking my DAT either end of April or early May. I read that it takes 4-6 weeks for the scores to send. So my dilemma is will the schools judge me on my previous DAT since I may not have my newer DAT in until after my application has been submitted? I'm just confused and was wondering if anyone was in a situation like this.

I'm pretty sure you indicate in your application that you will be retaking the DAT. They will wait for the result. They're going to see all attempts anyways, so it's not like you can keep them from seeing your existing score. Your trend will be included in the evaluation.
