Hello Guys,
I am planning to practice for my bench exam at home. I know I can buy instruments off ebay and other websites but I dont know exactly what kind I should get like what type of compressor and its compatibility with turbine etc..Can some post links ASAP so that I can find them. Please! I highly appreciate any favor.Thank you🙂

Compressor should be atleast 1.2 CFM ( outflow of air)@ 50 PSI( pressure) The noise levels determine the price....gets more pricier as the noise level decreases... upto 60 Db should be acceptable. You can also go on www.thedrtools.com for instrumetns ,burs etc.

Thank you soo much..I appreciate it🙂

I dont think so..but if a get a turbine with pedal and hose with that I can manage may be?

http://www.smtmax.com/detail.php?id=229..I attached a link for compressor..Helpfuldoc can you let me know if that is good enough?

Yes this compressor will work fine with the turbine unit . All you will need ,will be a connector that will connect the thin hose from turbine unit to the compressor. You can get that at home depot.Let me know if you need the turbine unit...i have them available at my store www.thedrtools.com .

I was wondering if you could answer a question for me, the link of the compressor that you posted, does it come with a foot pedal and a hose for the hand piece?

The compressor does not come with foot pedal or hose. For that you need the turbine unit. So basically you need the compressor, the turbine unit and a small connector ( can be purchased at home depot) to connect the 2. If you have any questions let me know...I have these these units at my store already assembled. We also have turbine units.

@Helpfuldoc: Thanks a lot for your link. I live in bay area and almost give up on finding a prep class around. You basically made my day with this link. Thanks a lot again 🙂
