Help for part2 preparation

Hi All,

I am starting to prepare for part2 and needed some suggestions

1. How many months hardwork is sufficient for part2? How many hrs/day/week

2. What all materials one should use for preparation?

3. What should I emphasise on 10yr questions, decks or kaplan book

4. How difficult is part2 as compared to part1?

hey,
I am going to try to answer youtr questions
1)2-3 months is good, but i know people who took in lesser time and passed too,number of hours/day would vary from person to person.some people get a good grasp of things in about 1-2 reading, some people need to revise more number oftimes to retain the matter. but I would say definitely 6-10 hours/day/5-6 days a week for 2 months is good for an average person.
2)do dental decks, old exams, some other reference books,kaplan,and whatever relevant material you can lay your hands on
3)all 3 are good, do decks and all the exams thoroughly.
4)part 2 is not that difficult to prepare for and less to cram and more to understand.so i wud say it is easier but definitely needs a good grasp on basics and good practice of qs to be able to hit the case based qs.
