Help!!! Fred myer-training hours

I am a brand new pharmacist.I just got hired at Fred myer pharmacy and am getting an orientation ,will have a training at pharmacy.
I asked to my pharmacy manager for the duration of my training,she said I will only have a 8 hours training at pharmacy.
OMG!!! 8 hours is too short to learn a computer system as a new hired pharmacist.
Can you give me advice or comment how many hours training I can have those who are working in retail setting?
I am so wondering how many pharmacy training hours can have for new pharmacist .

Why would you come on SDN and ask this question? Call the person who hired you or HR. They will be able to tell you exactly how much training time you get. This is also something you should have asked before you accepted the job.

I believe Kroger owns Fred Meyer. Kroger gives pharmacists two weeks of training.

I thought about that after I posted my response. I wonder about people sometime. Ask someone with your company who would know or ask random people on an anoymous internet forum. Apparently the anoymous internet forum is better source of information for most poeple.

Maybe just a tad harsh... You both were young, innocent pharmacists once. Well... Maybe.
