hi guys,

I am planning on doing my residency in Philly, if things go according to plan. I want to do an MD residency in medicine.

Do you guys know what it takes to get AOA approval to do an MD residency in PA? Is a rotating internship mandatory? Or can i get away w/o doing this?

any other advice appreciated about PA MD residency

thanks to all who reply,

phall

If you do a ACGME residency, your best bet is to apply for Resolution 42 (which is AOA approval of your ACGME intern year)

Check out the following links to find out the requirements for Resolution 42

*there is some talk about changing the requirements for Resolution 42 but as of right now, the above requirements still hold true.
