Anyone have experience purchasing a home as a resident?

I'm currently a MS4 considering purchasing a small condo/townhome in Connecticut before starting my residency. Would I be able to get a home loan ($100-120K) without an income? I would like to have a place to live before (around May/June) starting my residency(July), but at that time, I would technically not have an income since I haven't started my residency yet.

I would appreciate any advice on home purchases...
thanks in advance.

Based on my experience, I was able to get a loan with just the offer letter stating my start date and salary. You should be fine.

Check out the post on this forum entitled Mortgages. It explains a lot of info about physicians loans which you qualify for. So to answer your question, yes it is possible!
