help!!! How to create an ERAS link for uploading LOR

Hey guys, One of the attending is asking for an ERAS link to upload the letter of recommendation. I have no idea what it is and how to create it. All I know is that they have to log into LOR portal and put the letter ID I created for the letter. Do I miss anything about creating a direct link for them to upload?

Please help me. I have been sending the attending email back and forth for 4 times already. Don't want to upset him anymore!

If you have access to ERAS, go to your dashboard --> Letters of Recomendation section then complete steps 1 and step 2.

step 1: enter the LOR author information
step 2: finalize LOR author
Step 3: PRINT LETTER REQUEST FORM



There is no direct link for them to upload the LOR. They must make an AAMC acount (if they dont already have one) and then log into the LOR Portal, then using your letter id and AAMC id they can upload the file.

LoRs are usually submitted by the school's administration along with your grades, Dean's letter etc.
Why does the attending want to do this him/herself?
