Background: CA resident so most likely will need to move regardless. Not interested in a crazy competitive specialty, most likely going toward primary care or EM.

Summary: Overall I am in a dilemma bc my heart really wants to attend Touro NY but academically I feel KCU is just so well established, I don't want to hurt my chances and opportunities in the future by not attending the "well-known" school.

- Location! This is in Harlem, which is similar to where I am from in CA. Thus, it is the population I am used to and would like to work with in my career (Urban, low-income, diverse, etc)
- Super diverse class too
- Overall I think I would fit in here more and would be most excited about being in Harlem
- Higher Tuition and COL
- A scandal I heard of with admissions being offered to too many people a few years ago??
- Graded, not P/F from my understanding
KCU-COM Joplin
Pros
- probably the most established, well known, the original 5
- P/F grading
- Low tuition and COL
- In a rural setting, whereas I want to practice urban medicine
Western COMP-NW
Pros
- great reputation and program
- nice collaborative atmosphere from my impressions during the Zoom interview
- P/F grading
- In a rural setting (lebanon, Oregon)
- around half of the lectures will be Zoomed from the CA campus
