DO NOT LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING QUESTION IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN THE "official" practice test from the opted.org website ( I don't want to ruin the test for you.)

ok, so I am going insane trying to figure out the following question...there has to be a type-0 (which i doubt there would be) or I have gone insane and forgotten simple physics.

Question...
A12-volt battery with an internal resistance of
1-Ωresistor. Which of the following is the
current in amperes that flows in the circuit.
A. 4
B. 3
C. 9
D. 12
E. 48

OK, so R=1 and V=12 the equation is V=IR >>>> V/R=I so 12/1=12

WHY IS THE CORRECT ANSWeR B??? how could I=3??????
please help before I pull out my hair!😕

hey, my bf and i looked over that test already, and we agreed that their answer is wrong. so, try not to stress over it too much 🙂

omg i cannot believe they would have a wrong answer in there... 😱

THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!😍

I was looking over the same test a couple of nights ago and was questioning that answer. I'm glad I'm not the only one who was confused by that. On that note, in the organic chemistry section, there are two questions that I believe have their answers posted wrong; numbers 85 and 86. Could someone please look over these and let me know what you think?
