Rank however you think you will fit better to their team. All the programs are great, I have seen Gastroenterologist from all these IM programs.

Go with programs that are well known for their internal medicine residency. A place might be strong for GI fellowship but have weak IM residents. Doximity, though flawed, will give you a good idea of how a program stands. Cleveland clinic, case western, and Boston university all stand out to me as strong medicine programs. I would stick clear from montefiore/NYC programs unless you don’t care at all about work life balance, like working 80+ hrs a week, break ACGME caps, and want to be an indentured servant on the frontlines of whatever catastrophe comes your way for three years. My friend there have told me many horror stories and seem super burnt out..
