Hi everyone! I am taking the exam again, I took one year ago and didnt pass. Last year I only saw the Kaplan videos and read the book. Now, I have more time to study , so I will like to know where to start!

I have dental decks, ada, kaplan usmle book and dental book , kaplan usmle videos. I will take it on November. I think I will start with biochem ... Please help!

I only used First aid and dex. What other resources did people find useful? Very interested in responses to this thread as I'm hoping to retake my part 1s.

I'm having the same problem! I'm just not sure where to start! I'm trying to cover first-aid in 6 days (100pgs/day) then do some practices tests via crack the NBDE. Then I'll go over dentals decks in 2 weeks (hopefully) then more practice tests.

Is this plan feasible ? I have almost exactly 6 weeks till test day.

Is there anything else I can study for this test?

I mean is using First Aid enough for studying NDBE?

What do ppl who get high score on this use?

I have a feeling that dex and first aid are gonna be little unstructured...

Would Kaplan book help?

decks is the best. first aid will require you to do research bc its outline form. this is ok if you have lots of time, but for review i prefer to have the info there. most people get by with just decks. when i took the usa ndbe i just used decks snd passed. this was 11 years ago, but have heard others say the same. last week i took the canadian version, and very similiar to decks. basically 80 percent of the info is in decks. the last twenty, you cant really predict bc they throw in some question that really only the writer of th question knows the answer too.
