Quick question (and yes I looked @ back of my transcript).

My college goes by a A/B/C scale only no +/-

Does a "A" at my college = A+ or A for AADSAS?

This is what it says on back of my transcript:
A Excellent - 4 Grade points per semester hour.

A is an A. Why would you turn it into an A+, unless I'm missing something?

Well B- = B-, A- = A-

but my school does not have +/- so just wondering how that works (since A+ = 4.33)

There is a thread about this "4.33 A+" a few posts up that talks a lot about this.

Basically if your school give you A+/- dental schools will view it as such.

If your schools do NOT give +/- dental schools will view it as such.

So if you only get ABCDE without +/-, dental schools will grade it out of the traditional 4,3,2,1,0 scale.

This may not seam fair, but if you think about it, it is. For those not graded on a +/- scale, they can get a 80% and still get a 3.0, but for those graded on a +/- scale if they got an 80% it would be a B- and they would get a 2.667. Which is a disadvantage. So obviously if they should also be able to get a B+ 3.333 as well.

A on transcript = A for dental school

If you want to delay your application, just enter A+ for all of your A's.
