I have to be honest here and say that this kind of talk is exactly what we need to move away from on this forum. Such generalities doesn't help applicants and statements as this doesn't do anything to further the profession. While some schools may have lower admissions standards, this is standard for any form of school from undergrad to law to medical school. From my perspective admissions standards are rising as a whole and encouraging people with "you won't have a problem" may be premature and unfounded especially when you quite obviously don't know the specifics of his or her situation.
By the way, to the original poster, OCPM is a great choice. While I was accepted to every Pod school to which I applied I CHOSE OCPM for the faculty, location, facilities, and countless other factors. While OCPM was not my original first choice it was after visiting and interviewing that my mind was completely changed, for me it was a perfect fit and was a step above everywhere else I applied and visited...
