does anyone know if taking a pre-req course the summer of matriculation is allowed?

the only pre-req i have left is an orgo lab. i was going to take it this summer, but realized i wont have time with work, applying, and studying for the DAT. my only option is to take it next summer...... if this is allowed, should i include it in the planned/in progress section in AADSAS? THANKS!!!!!!!

From what I have seen most schools want pre-reqs done by spring semester of the year of matriculation.

Why not take it now or the next 2 semesters? online?

Wait, what...? Online...? Am I missing something here..? A lab online?

Yeah, I don't know of any schools that will let you take a pre-req after Spring semester. They want to confirm that you actually passed all of your classes, and if you fail one in the summer it doesn't give them much time to accept someone else in your place. You have to submit your official transcript after Spring semester in order to complete your "provisionary acceptance" that they send you. You may have to reorganize your classes so that you get them all done.

Sorry I thought you said orgo (not lab).

I am pretty sure no school will allow that. The thing is you have a year left...
