well pemphigus affects desmosomes WHICH CONTAINS TLG AND IAP , , pemphigus affects SPECIFICALLY tlg which indeed has extracellular adhesion too,PEMPHIGUS AFFECTS INTRACELLULAR JUNCTIONS IN KERATINOCYTES TOO ,this might be the reason ,,all explantations quoted from kaplan

QUESTION IS NOT THAT CLEAR bcoz pemphigoid affects hemidesmosomes which makes adhesion to bAsal lamina of basement membrane , .
I WILL GO AHEAD WITH PEMPHIGUS AS i have seen couple of questions like these in mcq books

DONT CRUCIFY IF the reason is WRONG
