Medical Help with D.O. School List, Low GPA Decent MCAT upward trend

3.25 cGPA, 2.90sGPA, white CA resident. Essentially had 3.0 First two years with some withdrawals and then a sub 2.0 junior year when I decided to take on all science classes received an F a D and a couple C's. Wasn't very motivated and didn't know I would want to pursue medicine.

Senior year 90+ credits school transfer degree change 3.85sGPA 3.90cGPA (~40 of the 90 were science, lots of other health sciences + humanities)

MCAT 516 balanced with high CARs.

Army Vet w/ medical role in combat deployment

Some research w/ first author pub

Strong leadership ECs and lots of clinical hours, weak point is GPA and volunteering but I do have some.

Complete at ~15 MD's, might add a few more but I am limited on which schools I can apply to.

I want to apply DO this cycle as well. I just want to be a doctor, and I am worried I won't get even a single II from MD schools this cycle. But I don't know how to go about making a list for DO schools. Could really use some help!

Good luck and I echo Goro's sentiments. You can't predict what MD programs will do. Just apply where you think they have the greatest support for you and aligned mission and opportunities that match your talents.
