Hey guys, I was wondering how some of you responded to this question:

Why choose you over other qualified applicants?

My resonse seems to include just listing general qualities. Should we just stick to saying what makes us unique? The problem I have is that this question is usually asked at the end so they already know a lot about me. What new information should I bring to the table?

Perhaps you could summarize the biggest selling points of your application rather than talking about completely new information.

Agree. Convince them they won't find anybody much less 100 or however many is in the class who is more capable (MCAT/gpa), who will work harder (cite work hx or ECs), is more motivated (examples from personal statement), quick to learn from mistakes (maybe you got a C in Physics I and followed up with an A in II). This is your closing statement, so wrap everything up with a big shiny ribbon and make it impossible for them to reject you.
