Help with the score

hi,
i have read biology and organic chem (from EK) about 4 times but iam still getting a score of about 9-10 in that section. Iam trying to improve it upto 14-15. But for some reason i am not able to achieve my target. What should i do? Do i need to follow some other book?..please help

Getting into the 14-15 range requires mastery of all the material. Achieving this generally requires much content review and many practice questions. If you feel that the EK books aren't getting you as far as you want, then you can always check out other resources.

I don't know what your study habits are like, but I suggest you identify all your weaknesses (i.e. the questions you are getting wrong) and work them until they become a strength. Strive not to make the same mistake twice.

Search the 30+ MCAT Study Habits thread for people who got 14 or 15 on that section and see what they did to get those scores.

i have read all that they r talking about. I gave a practise test today, in the biology part they were talking about stuff related to dialysis and using the concepts of osmotic pressure and hydrostatic pressure. The questions framed were totally out of nowhere. I couldnt find these concept in the book.
Do u think i need to practise more questions rather than reading the theory?

Getting a 13 is about eliminating all of your weaknesses and refining one's strategy. Getting a 14 and 15 involves a little luck.
