That is irrelevant. You are an IMG that is 5 yrs from graduation and 2 attempts on a board exam. You needed to apply to every single FM and IM program in the country. General surgery was a pipe dream (even more so as I suspect you don't have the right LORs if you quadruple applied), psych is increasing in competitiveness among US grads and if your app didn't scream "psych!" then it's not a surprise you didn't get interviews. IM and FM were likely your best chances but you only applied to a handful of programs...

who knows you might get an interview late cycle. However you should confer with IMGs who have gone through the match before to get more advice on what is needed and what sort of application strategy you should employ.

Do you know any people that matched? or any one at your school that can help you get in touch with people who matched who might be able to guide you through. The match game is very different for IMGs vs FMGs vs Usgrads. Seems like you should be applying broadly to im / FM unless you are a surgical or psych rockstar in your own country with the connections to apply to those fields.

hey! I graduated 05 years back, IMG, scored 252 and 241 with 2 attempts in CS. Haven’t received a single interview call. Terrified! 🙁
What are my chances?? Please share your experiences.
I applied to 60+ university hospitals that consider attempts.

It's possible, but most interview invites have been extended already. It's great to be hopeful but never wrong to game plan for next cycle. I would apply to well over 100 programs next year, primarily FM. Don't apply to any field other than FM and IM. Try to do observerships at hospitals that have taken residents from your school in the past. Try to network with former graduates of your med school to see if they have advice. SDN is great for US grads but we're less familiar with the FMG path and requirements so get help from people that have walked the same path.
