The DPM I work for suggested I check out this site :

I haven't seen it linked on SDN before so I figured I'll share. It's a pretty interactive site with plenty of podiatry related articles as well as information about the profession.

My guess is low 100s, you have to though understand that this route is for those who the millitary is their thing, doing it for just money will be a tough career path if that sort of culture and life is not for you.
Also from what I have been reading they are not really issuing any HPSP scholarships for DPM right now.
