Which one has a higher affinity to oxygen: Hemoglobine or Myoglobine?
This always confuses me. i know that when the pH is low Hemoglobine loses is affinity of Oxygen and releases the four oxygen molecule that it can carry. but i am not sure about myoglobine which services muscles.
thanks guys.

Myoglobin has higher affinity for O2, it serves as O2 storage. Just remeber that when the pH of blood becomes lower, it's easier for hemoglobins to release O2 than myoglobins.

great. thanks. i also wanted to know if there is a structural difference in them?

pressure also plays a role. Hb dumbs oxygen much sooner than Mb will. That's why Mb serves as a storage. Changing partial pressures would change the affinities.
