I don't know why Cray is throwing shade at me for saying I'd be happy to get voted out, because it's mod-confirmed impossible for me to be a bomb. I can 100% guarantee I will not explode on contact.

This behavior from you is still bizarre and it instinctually makes me not want to yeet someone asking for it. I'm almost ready to invoke LIS' rule about self voting here, just to snap myself out of falling into the reverse psychology.

Maybe you're the role blocker and trying to fish on thread so you know who's vig or something so you can block them.

Because I'm a masterful player who is either a crafty villager running a successful reaction test OR a tricksy wolf pulling off a delicately balanced long con to set up Cheezit when Dubz dies; you decide

Cause I sorta forgot this was a 36-12, and it's my last 2 weeks of vet school ever and I don't want to split my attention for more than ~4-6 IRL days; oops

You're almost acting TWTBW (too wolfy to be wolf) and that sketches me out. Like, if you were village why would you even be acting like this? Are you hoping to see if anyone is opportunistic about voting you? Only thing that makes sense.

Unless you're trying to set yourself up as a possible bus?

I think I answered this. It's pretty counterproductive for a villager to beg for death like this on D1. I can't help but wonder if it's reverse psychology.

Unless this is your way of wolf hunting. But there might be better strategies than trying to get people to misyeet you, because I could see scum staying off that lynch and some townies falling for that one

I'm saying that someone begging for death makes me pretty wary of them. That initially came from role madness paranoia, but the genny bus was another example, and LIS' rule about self voting basically gets at this notion that a "villager" wanting to die so much reeks of manipulation.

It's taking everything I have not to yeet you for this, and mostly because I'm psyched out at the idea of a wolfy you actually being this ridiculous in a game. Which may be exactly what you're trying to do. Congrats, it's working.

Also should Dubz fall into a magical Sleeping Beauty-like week-long trance just for when the MU game starts, I promise to be better about my wolf/scum/villager/town terminology. Also that is the only scenario I am willing to mentally entertain for why I should take being back up seriously (besides being honored).

The only way I would miss a game would be awful reasons and I suspect it's the same for Dubz. So yeah, realistically I'm not playing barring something awful or some mischevious magic. I would only expect the latter to whatever extent it could be expected.

Im asking about LIS’s reasoning in general about “if it wants to get yeeted it should get yeeted immediately” and how that applies to bombs. Not related to this game specifically.

I'm saying it strongly makes me NOT want to vote her, and then THAT kinda makes me want to vote her.

Not loving that she's doing this. This is why I strongly encourage people who are actually town not to play like this.

Yeah I don't have a good answer for that. That's part of the appeal of the rule, I guess, makes it easier to handle this kind of bizarreness That's usually against most people's wincons, unless the point is to cash in on some reverse psychology, which the rule helps defeat at least.

yes, that's my point. not related to this game, but still sort of sounds like strategy talk that seems like you're trying to contribute.

I voted for WZ because she is the rep and should be pressured. Which I readily explained when asked.

She made a joke to me about our family feud. I responded to her joke with another joke about it.

You are trying way too hard to make something where you know there is nothing. This reminds me a lot of Bioshock wolf Zenge tbh.

See and that’s what actually bothers me about it. The idea that “she’s the rep so she should be pressured”.

In some ways it feels like an unsavory way to game solve, but since you were the one who brought it up I guess it’s fair game.

Here’s why this bothers me: Most games Village has the task of finding and yeeting wolves. Wolves have the job of misyeeting villagers until parity. We all, village and wolves (or I guess town and mafia technically), have an additional task this game of “providing practice” for Cray and Dubz.

So from a villagers prospective if we wanted to both win the game, and provide practice to Cray and Dubz, we would play the game, wolf hunt and pressure Cray and Dubz only when they actually ping us as wolves.

From a wolf perspective though, you would both want to win by misyeeting and try to misyeet the people who need the pressure and practice.

Now I’m sure you didn’t go though the logic steps of it before placing your vote, but it does feel a lot more wolfy to me than village.

And by the way, that’s in no way the actual sequence of events like you’ve presented it. You immediately naked voted WZ, she asked why, you joked about it being because of breads height.

Later when I asked you said it was real, because you were planning to “yeet her if she’s a wolf”. This was very odd phrasing btw because you couldn’t possibly know if you’re making a mistake or not until after she flips.

You did explain, no ones saying you didn’t, so it’s weird to get defensive about it.

I’m really not trying that hard to push this Mayo, but you’re getting pretty defensive. Reminds me of shades of red Mayo. (See, I can reference games where you were a wolf too.)

But @Zenge142 it's just unrealistic to think the purpose of the game won't affect game play. People might be less likely to seriously vote for Dubz & Cray on D1 as any affiliation, and wolves sure as **** aren't going to kill them N1 because then people would be mad about it later. I don't see why you think they would want to push a Dubz/Cray misyeet, either.

The elected peeps have plot armor. It exists regardless of anyone's affiliation. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be pressured, because that won't exist in the actual game. So I don't really get what the problem is.

I mean it initially pinged me for reasons you might disagree with, but it’s how I read it. His responses and follow ups have continued to ping me, instead of alleviating my concerns. For now he’s my strongest wolf read.

Don't get me wrong -- even if I disagree with that specific reasoning, it's still totally possible he's a wolf.

I can't remember if this actually happened or if I'm exaggerating it in my head, but I think I may have strongly defended wolf!mayo in the past lol

I was never under any pressure in that game, so I'm not sure what you are getting at, other than trying to muddy the water. Naming a game I was a wolf in, without linking my meta is pointless.

As to your other points, how would it help my wolf game to want to pressure the candidates? If anything it makes less sense to draw attention to myself over it.

You're intentionally not understanding the concept of why I would want to help our candidates and remind everyone not to give them a pass. You're either a wolf, or this is an embarrassingly bad tunnel. I'm comfortable voting either one out.

This is mostly a good post, but I don't understand why the wolves would specifically want to yeet Dubz and I (assuming for argument that she's village)
