Yes, your stats make you certainly capable of getting in somewhere.
However, some schools are way more competitive than others. In one school you may be able to get in with a 3.2, while another usually only accepts a minimum of 3.7. Overall, the average accepted GPA of all schools is around a 3.47 I think.
Then of course you have all the other requirements, such as LOR's, essay, last-60 credits, PT observation in 3+ areas, etc.
I agree. My state school gets ~400 applications and accepts ~28-30.262 apps and taking 62 are really really good odds.
if they are a PTCAS program, your grad and undergrad GPA get lumped in. So if you did poorly in undergrad but did really well in grad school, then your grad GPA will pull up the poor undergrad GPA. If thye aren't a PTCAS program, then you would have to call and ask the program specifically. Many programs will take into account the entire application, not just the GRE and GPA. you will need to find out which programs do that by calling them.
I appreciate the response.
I would like to goto Oklahoma University but they receive 262 applicants and only take the top 62 based on GPA and GRE. I talked to a few people and they seem to not care as much about the observation hours.
