Wow! I just got done reading all the post from all on this site. I am amazed at how much time South2006 and all has on this site....

I am sick of pharmacy school and no longer believe in the senese of continuing. I am appalled at the many stabs that this instiution has taken......South2006 you make me sick and made me reconsider my options for pharmacy school. Your negative post along with others has given this profession and not this school a bad taste of whats to come in this profession.

Please stop because you don't represent the positive light of my choosen profession; rather you are just a person bent on getting revenge....were you accpeted? or rejected?

If you feel that strongly against this school than why not apply to another school of your choice. Are you a burned out pharmacist and just want payback; if so, you are doing us all a dis-service.

Just think without this institution no one has nothing to bitch about. I say to all you nay sayers go apply to the other colleges of pharmacy. Instead of posting many negative remarks you should all be ashamed of yourself. Opps I forgot most of the childish post are nothing more than venting..hehehehehe...

I just got my acceptance letter to a school in the mid-west and thankful for the invitation; however, I am still considering of attending hawaii....

Now, why should I attend hawaii than UIC. Well, I am sick and tired of you all badgering this inconsiquential school. I think that this school has much to offer since ya all post rude and unprofessional remarks. Now with that said; there must be something unique....in the middle of the pacific....

I gather most of the post in this site is to vent your frustration....now I say why not call them and speak your mind....I tried and cannot get a hold of them sometime; however, with perisistance I managed to get a hold of them and givem hell....

Now as far as posting pictures on this site....you must be a childish person and not reponsible enough to tackle the real world....why post when you can call them and given F***k hell....Why hide....?

Hey, if I'm going to invest 30K I'm going to bichth them out rahter than hiding....are you going to that in your profession and hide behind the counters and make drawings of your customers because you don't like them...grow up and speak your mind.....I did and boy that clifford person got a taste full of his own rx from me....hehehhehehehehehehe

NOW for allya all that think this school is a fly by night...I say again....do your homework and investigate.......I did and found my evidence that this school is for me.

I have the grades and will consider hawaii my first choice.

To all that have posted positive views...my hats off you ya all. I think that we can pull together and graduate

Well...I think afterall, we're here for the purpose of information exchanging, updates, as well as sharing our personal experiences in applying to pharmacy schools. I would not think it's a good idea to insult or make each other mad online. Let's just all be bro-sis.

Any new established school will meet new challenges...and sure will HICP. But i think afterall, it will be okay and solved. You guys will graduate and become pharmacists like students from other schools eventually.

We're pretty civil at the pharmacy forum. When someone posts something that we don't agree with, we usually address the issues without flaming. But this post . . . It deserves to be shot down with all the flair displayed on the Pre-allo board.

Pharmgurl2004- I must say that after reading your post...I'm a little concerned that you were accepted into Pharmacy school. Though I appreciate your opinion, I also was having a hard time reading your letter because it seemed to have been written by a 13 year old. You say that we are being unprofessional yet your writing does not exude maturity or professionality. However, I do respect your decision.

I have stayed out of this debate, however, I am also worried for the future of HICP students. Being a fellow pharmacy student, I have concerns that some people will move there with hopes of becoming pharmacists and may be wasting money and time. I'm just concerned with some of the shady moves that HICP has made, such as telling students have their parents refinance the house so that they can go to a non-accredited school. Certainly, HICP may become accredited and I hope it does, but it does bring up concerns if almost all financial institutions won't even back up HICP. The least they should have done is try to work out something with a lender. I just hope that everything works out for those that are planning on attending. I also hope that some of you are not going there merely because it's in a great location. To me, it seems immature and unprofessional to risk losing a great deal of money and time just to go to a school in a great area. It seems that the most important aspects should be the curriculum, passing rates, accreditation. However, I understand that some might have other reasons and I absolutely respect that. For those of you interested in this school, I wish you luck and I just hope that you research as much about the school as possible, before you make this life-changing decision. Good luck and nothing that anyone says here should change your mind if you've researched the school and have made a decision on your own!!

I'm not trying to be rude, but I couldn't follow your post at all. What was the point that you were trying to get across? Are you not going into pharmacy or are you? Are you going to Hawaii simply b/c you feel everyone speaks poorly about the program? You don't want to go into the profession anymore simply b/c people are bringing up concerns about the HICP program? You say that you called up Hawaii and b****ed them out?...how does this in any way reflect your confidence in the program itself?

Just like most of the people on here, I really could care less either way. It's not my concern as to whether or not you or anyone else is going to HICP (I wish all of you the best of luck 👍 ). Although, if you're going to start a new thread involving HICP (as previously mentioned, there are 3 others) to make a point, it would be a good idea to make it as clear as possible. Or else you're setting yourself up and your ethos (credibility) is completely shot down.

ok you said you are sick of pharmacy school yet you are going to school in HICP right? hmmm if you are sick of it see no sense of continuing, and why are you going to pharmacy school?????? Extremely confused............... 😕

that said, i do not care what HICP does. but all of us who criticized the HICP has one concern Accreditation. i would not personally go to HICP knowing its status of accreditation process. there is absolutely no guarantee that this school will be accredited, (i doubt it, if it doesn't though) but i completely understand view of others who are genuinely concerned about amount of money you will lose. since you won't be able to get any of the federal loans, your interest in private loan will be ridiculous compare to Stafford at least. i think all the criticism came from true concern regarding spending that much money not knowing the exact future. i congratulate all of you who got the acceptance to HICP. however, i just wish that you guys really think about what you are about to get into. even though chance of HICP not being accredited is rare, but still personally i would have waited until accreditation is finalized.

When I came home today, I found that my 110-lb dog had gotten into the trash, had knocked over a shelf, and had strewn dry cake mix all over my living room carpet. All of this is after getting only 4 hours of "real" sleep, and sitting through 4 hours of physics! Damn you two! It's all your fault.

Its bad enough that pre-pharm students have the pleasant application process to look forward to this fall, but to have to weed through all this childish nonsense to get to the real stuff is a damn shame. Give me a break! Adding a little humor and lightening the mood on SDN is no friggin big deal. I'm sure FutureRxGal's point in stating the OPs post was a waste of space was because it contained incoherent ramblings. If you say PharmGurl made valid points then you're dellusional. PharmGurl deserves these negative posts coming at her because she couldn't even take the time to fully explain her thoughts and she was hypocritical about disliking "Mr. Park's" picture which she, herself, thought was humorous just a few days ago.

I hope along with everyone else that HICP gets its accreditation so that this back and forth **** can stop. Again, not one of us wants to see HICP fail, the pharmacy forum is a community and we all want the best for our members. The constant antagonistic posting to valid arguments against HICP's credibility is the problem. Why can't some people take warranted criticism of their CHOSEN university?

PharmGurl - the majority of posters raising valid concerns over HICP are already pharmacy students, so to answer your question, no, we are not "bent on revenge" because we were rejected from HICP.

I would have called a new HICP thread a waste regardless of who started it. There are 3 others. I'm sure people are tired of wading through multiples of those as well. And about the other thread, it's nice to have a thread that can be light-hearted and humorous, no matter how insignificant it is.

As for your waste of space, I'll just consider the source. Sorry, but I'm not too keen on taking anyone with "mstrb8r" in his or her handle very seriously. 🙄
