I am wondering how admissions committee members consider your high school record? I was expelled from a private boarding school for drinking and I don't know where it would fit, or if I should include it, in my application. I'm afraid that they will see my sudden change in high schools on my resume and ask for the reason (I think they will be more likely to ask because I am a US citizen who grew up in Asia and upon dismissal from high school I went back home for one year of high school, only to come back to the US for university). If I only wait until the interview to talk about it when they ask me I feel that I might appear dishonest. How will adcom members think of this?
Should I directly tell them (on paper, in the interview?) or completely avoid talking about it? Should I also do the same with asking for letters from my recommenders?
My GPA has always been good, 3.7 in high school, 3.9 in a top 25 university, could do more ECs, yet to take the MCAT
Thanks
