Most of the high yield books drive me nuts. But high yield biochem is a really quick read, and seems to hit on all the major points. It is also 3x shorter than most review books out there.

Is it useful, or is it too general for a good boards review?

Thanks alot

I would find a different resource. It doesn't connect any of the pieces of metabolism at all; quickly surveying this book and then doing questions was more useful.

i agree. i felt like it left a lot of the more pertinent clinical stuff out. I wasted a whole day on that dang book. way to go, splat.

Just pick a book that will further explain (as in not just list...) the topics that are presented in First Aid, read the Goljan nutrition chapter....and you'll be set
