Can I ask a really stupid question,

WHO CARES

This will be your sole criteria as to how you will select your place of employment? Wow!! Time to get a reality check. Look at the whole package. Salary, sign on bonus, benefits, what store you will be working at, floating or staff pharmacist, how many nights, what hours you will be working. If you really don't want to work 12 hour shifts, would you sign on with a job that requires them to get $1.00 per hour more?

I get a million dollars an hour as an intern for WaWa Rx dept.

I dont know about pay so much as I have heard that there are less scripts to fill and more techs put on each shift to help out at Target vs Walmart. That what I heard I dont know the specifics though. Hosp setting in NJ seem to start off at $50 an hr, retail is always a little more than Hosp but the hrs arent as great in retail. Again only what I have heard so not sure how accurate this it. It also depends if its North or South Jersey. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

walgreens i believe pays pretty well

Grocery chains, as well as costco, are up there too

CVS and Target pay on the lower end, Target is a nice job tho

Well said. Pay attention, it will save you a whole lot of headache and heartache later.

Let me let you in on a little secret....In a geographic area all retail pharmacies will pay approximatly the same. Throughout the year each chain will do a salary market analysis and adjust if needed.
