Alright this coming semester, I'm doing research, taking neurobiology and human physiology as a post-bac student. I want to add one more class to be full time, my options are histology and developmental biology. Which one is more relevant to the dental curriculum? Which would you choose?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I would choose Histology , it's kind of microscopic scope of all tissues and it's like microscopic anatomy; devel. biology needs a prereq. such as genetics such as it will do a lot with genetic predeterminants of development --with all acronims for different genes-- if you like more genetics than microscopic stuff, u can do it IMO.

Nice video too ;)

Histology has my vote........

Def. more helpful in first year dental school...

histo will be a big help and give you exposure to a tough subject. you will def be taking that either 1st or 2nd semester of your first year of dental school.
