Check out the interview invite threads, my roommate is a URM applicant and has slightly lower stats than me and applied to essentially the same schools and has been invited for 5 interviews, though none of the ones I've been invited to interview at. I'd say certain schools look at it differently and it depends on the adcom officer looking at your app

Certainly not in medicine. The thing about applications increasing is that they are, at least recently, but there are still less than there were in the 90s. Probably had to do with the dotcom boom.

I believe people of Asian decent are stastically, "hurt" the most by their race (as defined by % applying/% getting in), followed by whites.
