Hobbies on AMCAS??

AMCAS has an experience type called "Extracurricular/Hobbies/Avocations". Can you include activities that aren't school related? For example, I've been a serious bowler for over 15 years and one of my hobbies is vegetable gardening which I've been doing for the past 12 years. These are hobbies, but I just wasn't sure if they appropriate to put on AMCAS.

if you spend a lot of time doing it you should definitely list it. They can't give you credit for anything you don't tell them about, and i think that sounds kind of interesting. If you've got the space, go for it, the worst they're going to do is just ignore it.

Of course you can. I did, and things are going well for me so far.
